Today between errands, I dipped myself in sunblock and went out on a D.A.* to Greer Park in Youngtown. It’s a tiny neighborhood park with a great little cactus garden. I brought my pencils along and did some sketching.
There’s a probably apocryphal story that a great landscape artist was having trouble with a project, and said, “It’s the same old story. What to do with the greens.”
Preach. But, I keep trying.
